Other Information About the PhotoArt

All of the images are pictures that I have taken over the years.  A few have been scanned images from earlier years; most are digital photographs.

Except for large prints on canvas, I print all of my own images.

About the PhotoArtist

I am recently retired from being a Senior Policy Advisor to the Administrator for Rural Business-Cooperative Service of the U.S. Department of Agriculture in Washington, DC.  I look forward to devoting more time to my photoart.  I have been creating my images since 2005 and have participated in a number of shows since my first exhibit in November 2005 in Hillsborough, NC.

I grew up in Glen Head, NY, went to college at Rutgers University (Cook College), and then went to Duke University (School of the Environment) where I earned a Ph.D. in environmental policy and economics.

I have been married since 1977 to Eleanor.  She has graciously put up with me all these years, especially since I started my photoart pursuits.  She has contributed to some of the flower images by growing the flowers in the pictures.
